Birla Mandir is an odd-looking Hindu temple. It is situated in New Delhi, not far from Connaught Place. Opposite most Hindu temples and sacred places, Birla Mandir is open for tourists also. The temple was financed by the wealthy finance family Birla and was created during the period 1933-1939. Despite the fact that the temple is quite recent the choise of colours is traditional. This colour scheme was used also by us when designing our home pages. Many thanks to Cecilia who went to Birla Mandir to take the photo for this page.
