Hawa Hawa

"Hawa" in Hindi means "wind" or "air". "Hawa Hawa" is a typical Indian movie song. During one of our trips to India in the end of the 1980s we heard this song in many places. With the typical mixed influence of traditional Indian music and western pop songs we learned to like this tune a lot. If you don't know Hindi but well Swedish, one line in the text sounds much like the Swedish words for "Yes, she wants some tea". And tea was what was in our minds all the time. Avoiding everything except tea and boiled water, we had quite a lot of cups of tea until we got enough fluid in the tropical heat. The text, of course, has nothing to do with tea, but with love.

Thanks to Kamlesh who translated parts of the text for us to Swedish.
