EC Gefjon Balder, or Saddam as we usually call him, is our former stud. He is born in January 1996. Saddam is a good evidence for the slow development in Wegies. As an adult he has got more substance in his body - without getting fat (until neutered...). He has also got more fur. |
| Saddam has an excellent temperament which he inheritate to his offspring. He is a long cat with good proportions. His skeleton is not very thick, but this is compensated for by his expression. He has an excellent fur, although short during the winter season. His chin is slightly weak and his ear which was perfect when he was younger has became smaller when his face has widened with age. Previously he also had another benefit, he never sprayed at home, also when fertile females where present. Since the Summer of 1999 this has unfortunately changed, and he is now occasionally named the Spray Bottle. In december 2000 he finally was neutered. |

Irregardless if at home or somewhere alse he is never silent - except when eating or sleeping. He sings and talks a lot, especially if he is in the cat enclosure in the garden. It is important to inform the neighbours what a nice cat he is - he thinks. |
| On November 7, 1998 Saddam became European Champion (Fife) in Stockholm. Since he has attended only a few cat shows. Rather he has devoted his attention to his work as a stud. We hope for a new career as a neuter. |

Totally, he has got 33 children. So far his offsprings has inherit god size. Some of his sons are already as quite young, heavier than their father. He appears to inherit a good fur, but unfortunately sometimes also his weak chin is inheritated. |
